Because of the combination of dry fruits, it gives you required energy and protein to satisfy your hunger. having said that, i use this barfi as milkshake solids and i blend it with chilled milk for a refreshing drink.

INGREDIENTS

2 cup seedless khajur/dates

3 tbsp ghee

2 tbsp khuskhus/poppy seeds

1 cup mixed nuts (almonds,cashews,pistachios)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • firstly,2 cup seedless dates crushed .Now roast 2 tbsp poppy seeds.
  • roast until the seeds turn golden brown.
  • Heat 1 tbsp ghee and roasted 1 cup mixed nuts and do not burn
  • heat 2 tbsp ghee add crushed dates and mix well
  • further add 1 cup cashew,almonds,pistachios and mix well
  • add 1 tbsp poppy seeds and combined well
  • continue to fry on medium flame mix dates with a spatula.
  • turn off the flame and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  • now start rolling to form a log.
  • now cut into thick slices once set completely
  • finally, enjoy Khajur burfi/dry fruit burfi for a month when stored in airtight container.
